Travel from Rishikesh to Lohajung by arranged road transport. This is the approach day before the trek begins.

Drive from Lohajung to Wan, then trek to Gehroli Patal. The trail passes through houses, centuries-old cypress trees, a shepherd's hut, and dense forest, with intermittent stream water sources on the route. Camp at Gehroli Patal.
